High blood pressure (HBP) or Hypertension is a condition wherein the force of your blood pumped against the walls of your blood vessels, is continually too high.

Here are a few ways to manage high blood pressure:

  • Maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle
  • Cutting back on caffeine, alcohol, and smoking
  • Reducing stress
  • Consuming BP-lowering supplements such as Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid, whey protein, magnesium, etc.
  • Trying prescription medication only after consulting a doctor such as Prinivil, Zestril, or Norvasc.
