    Aspirin is one of the most commonly used drugs in the world (Jones, 2005) and the UK. Despite its wide availability and low price, last year in the UK, aspirin was prescribed more than 23 mln times (OpenPrescribing.net, 2019). Aspirin belongs to a group of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS).
